Weather and Wars

The cool winds of leaf-fall are gone, to be replaced by the brisk winds of leaf-bare. The first snow and cold did not come until half-way through leaf-bare, but now that its hear, it seems as if its here to stay. All water is frozen over and all the prey is hiding in its den. The four Clan's lives are misserable and cold. In other news, there are no battles/wars going on.

There is currently a Gathering at four trees. Every cat can go.

Brokenstar padded wearily into her den. What a night! An argument at a Gathering, almost breaking out into a battle. Wasn't StarClan ashamed? The black she-cat fell into her nest gratefully, tired after the commotion. Her belly growled in hunger at her. No, I'm tired! she moaned silently. I can't get up to eat. I'm too weak.

Eventually Brokenstar gave in to her hunger, and slipped into the main camp for a quick mouse and carried it back into her den. While she ate she was deep in thought. Would a SkyClan cat really kill LightClan's medicine cat? Surely Shadowclaw had more sense than that? But Brokenstar didn't know Shadowclaw personally, nor had she known Ivoryleaf.

But something didn't seem right to her...
